How can it be called a vacation to Branson Missouri without seeing a few world famous Branson Shows?!  Thats right..the answer is...it can't...but in all seriousness Branson is still boasting more theater seats than Broadway and has over 80 live shows playing daily. You can still get Branson show tickets at an incredible value and it's a fun time for the whole family.  Branson lodging has many quality places to choose from at great prices.
 
 
A man was spotted shoplifting at Shoe Carnival in Branson at approximately 10:15 am on Thursday.  As he tried to get away in his car an employee held onto the man's vehicle and was knocked to the ground sustaining serious head injuries.  The Branson employee had to be airlifted to a Springfield hospital for medical care; he is is critical condition.

Branson may be known for the many shows in the area but the museums and attractions we have to offer are plenty and one of a kind!

Branson’s largest museum attraction is the Titanic museum. It houses many priceless artifacts from Titanic itself and is a historical museum that’s not only entertaining it is informative for kids and adults alike.

The nearby College of the Ozarks offers a great museum filled with displays including local history exhibits. It is a hidden gem among what Branson has to offer but it is a place definitely worth visiting.

The Hollywood Wax museum is a fun museum worth visiting that’s right on the strip! The displays are sure to wow everyone while they find a scene from their favorite movie and to think they are all made of wax. It definitely leaves a person in awe of how real they look.

There’s another museum that will leave a person scratching their head or wondering “can that be real?”  is Ripley’s Believe it or Not.  That place is a sight to be seen, or should I say several sights to be seen!

The Veteran’s museum is a hat’s off kind of museum, a salute to our veterans that gave so much to our nation, if not everything. This museums houses memorabilia from the great wars of this nation and personal artifacts that will inspire viewers to see in a small way what our country’s hero’s lived through for our freedom.

The largest outdoor museum is just up the road about 30 miles in Springfield, it is Bass Pro. But we have our own Bass Pro shop located at the landing that ain’t too shabby either! The displays are beautiful and the décor exhibits many photos of our local people many years ago.
